What we collect

No accounts, no sign-ups, no newsletter. We do not ask you for anything. The site records aggregate traffic — which pages are read, roughly where readers come from — to decide what to write next.

That traffic count uses Google Analytics, which sets its own cookies to tell one visit from another. We use it for measurement only: advertising and personalisation features are switched off, and nothing it records is used to show you ads. It runs under Google's privacy policy. To opt out, install Google's opt-out browser add-on, block third-party scripts, or browse in a private window.

Booking links

Links to booking platforms carry a code identifying this site so the platform can pay the commission. Following one takes you to that platform, where its own privacy terms apply. We never see your booking, your payment details or your name.

Affiliate script

Every page loads a small script from Travelpayouts, the network that handles our booking-platform partnerships. It records that a booking link was followed from this site, so a resulting booking can be credited to us. It does not collect your name, email or payment details, and it runs under Travelpayouts' own privacy policy. Blocking third-party scripts in your browser stops it without affecting the site.
